Based on generally accepted international publishing standards, the editorial board of the scientific journal "World of Clio" has established and adheres to the following principles of publishing ethics:


Responsibility of the editor-in-chief:

  • He/She decides on the publication of the article, guided by the decision of the editorial board, reviewers and the person responsible for reviewing anti-plagiarism materials, which are based on the policy of the Committee on Publication Ethics – COPE.

  • He/She ensures confidentiality by handling information about the content of the materials provided only within the editorial board, reviewers, author and publisher.

  • He/She resolves (if any) conflict situations of an ethical nature.

  • He/She retains original reviews for 5 years.

  • He/She decides to reduce the volume and refuse to publish an article that infringes the copyright or generally accepted norms of scientific ethics.


 Responsibility of members of the editorial board:

  • They are responsible for the publication.

  • All information obtained during the review of this article is kept secret.

  • Discussion of the materials of the manuscript of the article can be carried out only by persons authorized by the editor-in-chief.

  • They are responsible for the decision to publish the accepted articles.

  • They determine the compliance of the submitted materials to the profile of the publication, the requirements for registration and send them for review by a doctor or a candidate of science. They can return the article for revision in case of partial non-compliance with the requirements for its content and design. Significant incorrectness in the design may be the reason for the non-acceptance of the article for publication.

  • If self-plagiarism is detected, more than 15% of the editors reserve the right to refuse to publish the given article.

  • We reserve the right to involve independent reviewers in the review.


 Responsibility of the reviewer:

  • He/She performs an objective assessment of the materials of the article, convincingly argues it.

  • He/She carries out a bilateral anonymous review of submitted manuscripts, based on the results of which it decides on admission to publication.

  • In 2-week term he/she carries out review of articles. Note: the editorial board may adjust the timing of the review, taking into account the subjective conditions of each case (provided that the quality of the review is mandatory).

  • He/She does not use the ideas or parts of the content of peer-reviewed materials in their own publications without the written consent of the author or the relevant link after the publication of the latter.

  • Subject to a positive review, he/she notifies the editorial board, which makes the final decision on admission to publication.

  • If the reviewer has a remark in the generally positive assessment, the article is considered conditionally admitted to publication, but one that needs to be revised (the revised article is re-sent to the review).

  • With the consent of the author and the editorial board, comments may be uncorrected. In this case, the editorial board reserves the right to publish such comments as comments on the article (the author has the right to formally respond to them).

  • He/She has the right to refuse a recommendation to print. In this case, the article is not considered a second time.


Responsibility of the author:

  • He/She ensures that the submitted for publishing materials are original and do not contain plagiarism and/or self-plagiarism; are not considered by the editors of another publication and have not been published before (including in other languages).

  • He/She is responsible for the accuracy of facts, references, quotations and translations.

  • He/She reflects the author's team of the article of all persons who have made a significant contribution to the study.

  • He/She complies with the law on copyright protection.

  • He/She retains the authorship of the article and transfers to the publication the right of first publication under a Creative Commons 4.0 International license.

  • If the article is published as part of the author's participation in the project, grand, etc., it must contain this information.
